Spring Break Galore

Ya'll ready for this?? Hey friends! Here's my fun-filled spring break collection of all the crazy stuff I indulged in during my week home! Enjoy and live well. 

I.  EPIC FOOD & HIKING 
Making some amazing noms and going for a chilled out nature adventure - best way to spend a Monday.  Thankful for good food and even better company! 

BREAKFAST

Waffles:  2 cups flour
1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
3/4 - 1 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Bonus noms:  avocado
pepper jack cheese

NATURE WALK

"The human spirit needs places where nature has not been rearranged by the hands of man."   

LUNCH

Dumplings:  pork
eggs
salt
soy sauce
sugar
Chinese parsley
Chinese leek (Chinese chives)

Marinate all ingredient overnight

Wrap with dumpling skin

FREAKING DELICIOUS

II.  LORD OF THE RINGS WORKOUT

III.  NYC & TRENDS TO WATCH FOR
THIS CITY.  Opportunities are endless if you put yourself out there and strive to be ambitious.  I wouldn't mind waking up everyday to this view.  

BCD Tofu House

From the soon tofu to the dimly lit atmosphere, BCD Tofu House is where it's at.  Service is great and food comes fast.  I definitely recommend hitting this place up for a solid meal!

KOHL'S

Kohl's NYC office: Your creative environment inspired me. From technical designers to product developers, these lovely people are passionate about creating fresh looks for all different target markets.  Kohl's values team building, as well as making the work atmosphere not only for quality work, but also a place to learn and inspire each other.  Glad I got the opportunity to take a sneak peek at this aspect of the fashion industry.

 Calling all college kids! Kohl's offers great internships for college grads and usually hires interns for full-time jobs.  It's a great place to be a part of, so make sure you take the opportunity to work for this great company!
